Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Frontech Limited unveild on sept 11 that they have developed a PC Login Kit for use with the PalmSecure palm vein biometric authentication device.
A mouse model and standard model is being selled to corporate users.
key features:
- elliminates the need of using an authentication server becauze the kit comes with a login authentication software.
- The mouse model shown in the figure is the worlds first PC mouse having a biometric authentication in it.
- hygeinic since the user doesnt have to touch the surface.
- highly secure method since veins are present internal to the body and no one can forge it :)
- login to PC is very easy not requiring a password or ID.
So its a nice way to prevent data leak from your PC which may contain many valuable(secretive!) information.
